Also referred to as a โblind tigerโ ; an illicit nightclub (during Prohibition) where guys and gals alike got dolled up and went out to celebrate each other, good conversation and music; a place reinvented in the center of downtown Homewood.
Blind Tiger is a 1920s themed speakeasy located 'Under the Still'. Careful not to tell nobody, the johns been on our tails since the day we opened our saloon. And make sure ya know the password before ya get here. We ain't lettin' just anybody in. The Blind Tiger Crew ain't trynna get caught now.
This is a photograph of a street scene in Homewood back in the late 1920s. The building on the corner to the left is now Copper Still Martini Bar & Lounge and 'Under the Still' is BLIND TIGER.
